“Starting lessons at Drumstruck has been a real adventure for Josh. Besides his weekly lessons, he has participated in public performances organized by the school, recorded drum tracks in a recording studio for a CD, and even did a TV shoot. Because his teacher had set high standards for himself and his students, Josh was able to acquire drumming skills so rapidly and to a high level of proficiency. As such, he was able to achieve a Distinction score for his Grade 5 examination at the age of ten. His teacher’s encouragement and his quiet confidence in him has inspired and motivated Josh, and moulded him to become a person with drive and ambition, and one who bravely takes on new challenges. Not surprisingly, he inspired to follow in the footsteps of the Drumstruck students before him who have completed their Grade 8 examinations with flying colours before finishing primary school. ”
